All the most common substances in a bodybuilder's arsenal have been divided into three groups (Anabolic Steroids, Anti-Estrogens, Other Ancillaries). The reason most are listed according to their chemical name instead of common trade name are because every knowledgeable bodybuilder should be familiar with chemical names. In this era, where UG labs supply most of the gear we use, chemical names are most commonly what you'll see on the labels. In addition, you'll come across steroids with different esters, with claims that one ester works better than the other, but the ester itself has no action in the body other than to determine the speed of the release of the base hormone. The base hormone always has the same properties in the body, regardless of the esters - "Test is Test".
