Well I ahve found a TRT doc and have and appointment Aug 7th. My bud says if i have and old blood test the doc will use it. well i do and its probally a year old. A general doc and he put me on androgel I hated it. It burned me were that patches were and he finally moved me to a capsule called android (metheltest i believe.--spelling--
So i was good with it and could never get him to move me to and injectable. And then he left the practice. I moved on to a cruise at 150 cyp 1 time a week and mixed in a little NPP, I plan on doing the NPP on and off at 300 a week 6 week intervals. Heres my question. If the doc wants to re-test my test levels is there anything I can use to hold my muscle and come in with low numbers so i can get the script? LIke drop all the test and NPP and maybe run var? or just the NPP for a few weeks? It bothers me to completely come off. I have made good gains for a mid 40,s lifter. Hell i dont care if the doc gives mee a 100mg of test a week i respond well to it. OK gents fire away! |

There are several really good threds in this section, one specifically that I can think up, telling you exactly how to do this.
I am currently on TRT. I was on Testim, 2 tubes a day, having found androgel to be very disappointing. There is also a thread in this section on Testim, you may want to read that. I've found that my body responds extremely well to it. So much so that when I switched from 2 tubes of testim a day to 200 mg cyp a week, my test levels at 1 week post injection were 498. When I was using the Testim, 2 hours after application they were 1500 and by morning, prior to application, they were 587. If this new TRT doctor insists on trying you out on a transdermal first, try the testim, you may like it, may not. Personally, I'm about to go back to the Testim, but without insurance it'll cost you a lot. Don't know your situation. If you don't have insurance that will cover it and are paying cash, tell that to the doctor, too. Injectables are the cheapest of your alternatives. The injections, while not cheap (pre-insurance a 10ml vial of cyp is about $98. A box of 30 tubes of Testim is around $150. That's $300 with no insurance.) they are good, you know exactly what is the bottle you get and it's legal. And, if you have a prescription for injectables, you have a reason to have needles around. You may not need a prescription for them in your state, but if you do, then it's sure handy to have one. Good luck and let us know your results. |

Finally, your insurance may not cover the injectables, at least not the prescription side. Check with your company, though, injectibles may be covered under the medical side, good thing about that is that if you end up paying over a certain amount of co-pays during the year, then you don't have to pay anymore (usually 2 or 2.5K).
Take care. |

I have a script for cyp, so I understand your need to have low levels. My doc just writes a 5 btl script and sends me home. Ins pays all but 50 buks. Before I have bloodwork done, I have my appt scheduled for monday morning. This way you can eat a couple greasy meals, stay up late fri and sat nite and have a few beers both nites. Yes it zaps you on monday morning, but it also lowers your natural test levels long enough to "cheat" on your blood test. Hope this helps...
