Default front squat vs the conventional

Hey board i just want to post and get some opinions of the board. I squat and I fucking hate it but its a must do in this sport imo. I always alternate between the front squat and the conventional. I can go heavier on the conventioanal 315-365 for some reps. but I have less back discomfort doing the front squat. but stay at 225 for the most part and go deeper ( below parallel). I just wanted to know which is your least favorite and favorite of the 2 and why.

I usually do my of my heavy loads with the traditional squat. Seem to get the most growth this way. But the front squat is nice for getting better development on the front quads. I usually only do low weight high reps with the front squat. Something about heavy ass wieght and the unstability of the bar really scare the fck out of me. I alwasy have this feeling that the bar is going to roll back on to my adams apple, so I stick to a comfortable weight, use good form and really feel a nice burn. I usually alternate b/w this excersize and the leg extension other other workout.

Yes I love the manta ray for regular squats. I know thier a device for front squats. I saw a video/pic posted at intensemuscle.com by MassiveG about device. However it cost an arm and a legs, haha. Let me see if I can pull up that link for you.

I love front squats but when my bicep tendonitis kicks in its hard to manage the bar without it impinging that area of my shoulder bicep insertion-but the movement really hits my quads well.

I'm sure front squating 505 for rep doesn't help your case either, lol.
