are going crazy with obama now since he is and will have to change his position on iraq. when he goes there and the generals tell him we are winning the war on iraq and we cant pull out then what does mr liberal do or should in say mr regualr politician who all along is saying we need change. he is going to announce we are winning the war to all the people of the usa and then what.liberals voted for him to win the primary against hillary and guess what they were lied to and they will not vote for him

The Iraqi government is demanding we establish a time table so they know exactly when they will be relieved of a foreign military presence. What George Bush, John McCain, Obama or US citizens want shouldn't matter. Iraq wants us out. Everything else is political posturing and bullshit.

what scarer me is a pullout BUT what scarer me EVEN MORE is the type of pullout just about every liberal wants... a slow or gradual pullout rt now. THINK PEOPLE... i got fam in the millitary... what, RIGHT NOW, would happen to the troops that ARE there with a SLOW or GRADUAL pullout? a slow and gradual SLAUGHTER.

I've not seen anything said about a gradual pullout from anyone except republicans.... and only after we have won. Trouble is nobody has defined what winning is. Neo-cons would have us stay in iraq until the end of time if they had their way. But of course somehow that is better then taking a stance and bringing our boys home.

How is a slow pull out going to lead to a gradual slaughter when continuous occupation won't?

I think the average iraqi wants the US out of iraq, and who can blame them because who would want an ominous controlling presence in their country, but they are smart enough to realize that isnt possible or smart.

What we need is just some sort of time line of attainable goals that we can work towards. They dont have to be set in stone to be out by this date or whatever, but the way it is now, bush has a blank check on iraq with no time table. If you arent for that blank check though, you are an anti american terrorist liberal who will ruin american, right?
