All,
So here's my question. Where does the "12 week on" cycle length theory come from? What is it about 12 weeks that is the magical number? Are there studies posted? If I missed it, then just point me in the right direction, I appreciate it!

Hmmm good question.
I can say personally gains tend to level off around week 10, so I'm left with a few choices.... up the dose, switch compounds, or come off and recover. |

So do you utilize one of the three options at week 10, or go for two more weeks?

Only speaking from personal experience........I truly believe that it depends on the individual. I'm sure there are studies out there somewhere that will point out that after a certain timeframe, the body will not accept the compound as much. However, there are some GENETIC FREAKS out there that could run for 8-10-12-20-24 weeks and see gains every time. In the past I have tended to run for 12 weeks because of the amount "supplements" I had obtained happened to work out perfectly to the 12 week time frame.
I have also read posts in other forums where dudes have ran a TestE year round. So I guess it kinda does all depend on what and how much your running???? |

Personally... I've utilized all of these in some form or fashion.
Though these days I tend to prefer "shoot" for 10, clear out for 2, pct and IGF for 4, 4 clean, get blood work, if all is well repeat. Oh and GH throughout. |

Though, its also important to add that I get tired of being on, tired of training, tired of eating etc.

So is it safe to say that if you're still making gains, then you should stay on the same dosage until you see your gains come to a halt?

What compounds are you shooting for 10? I've read some good stuff about IGF, what have been your experiences?

Again, speaking from my own experiences...........Hellz yeah, if you're still seeing gains, you could keep at it. But you really have to be aware of what is going on with your body overall. While you still may be seeing gains your body's own production may be closing down significantly. Here is where PCT comes in very handy to help recover normal levels.
I'll admit straight up that I am by no means an expert in this area, but with enough research and reading from other forums, you'd be safer by cycling through closer timeframes than extending on/off cycle times. Like Quazi said, he gets tired of being on, and training and eating.........all of the cycling can take a mental toll on an individual. |
