I had to hit the gas pump tonight for the second time this week. Tonight a gallon of regular mobil gas is $4.09. People aren't going to be able to go to work if this keeps up.

Has this affected anyone elses diet? It looks like things are getting pretty bad. What are some of you guys' ideas on how to fix this mess, since we cannot rely on empty suits to do it for us as they say they will.

It was already 2x as cheap to eat badly than it was to eat fruits and veggies and all the good stuff. The way the prices are going up on food, it will be hurting my family by fall.

Seriously, because of gas prices all other businesses are raising their rates just to turn a profit, but my fucking job isn't paying me more.

They need to shed one last tear for the caribou.

1. Begin construction of pumping stations and refinaries in Anwar.
Blackwater can be hired and sent there to provide security.

-National Guard cannot defend America when it is in the Middle East.The armament and training of a legitimate citizens militia is necessary.

-No illegal immigrants may work on this project. Thework involved with this project can be done only by able-bodied civilians receiving Government assistance, or their children if they are truely unable to work.


2. For every acre of land used for oil recovery, 500 abandoned houses in areas of urban decay in 3 test cities (Buffalo, Little Rock, Baltimore) will be bulldozed and replaced by as many rows of young trees as it takes to fill the site. For every lot containing trees, there will be 3 lots containing vegetables and plants that can be used to make textiles. Large well constructed workshops which include as bedded rooms, showers, and a cafeteria.
Soon inner-city neighborhoods will be able to feed themselves and trade, tax-fee, the foods, clothes and textiles that they have produced with their own hands.
-Election of Matrons to oversee the construction of their new neighborhoods, tend the trees and gardens and make decisions for the same.

- One ultimatum to be given to the streetgangs which are standing in the way. Drop your weapons, tend your children and your neighborhood and be men for a change or die. Extortion cannot be tolorated. If a Matron hears reports of people being harmed and robbed and shaken-down, she can either let the men of the neighborhood handle it as they see fit or she can choose to involve the militia.

-The militia can not be pitted against one and other in factions by Matrons. Matrons who attempt to do this will immediately lose militia support and will not be able to regain it for an undetermined period of time.

Personally I can get by using very little gasoline due to my home being a short walk from my job. I spend at most $20 a week on fuel. However, as the price of diesel rises, look for the price of everything delivered by truck to rise as well.
