Well, at long last I finally have the results from the MRI I about died having done~!!!! Call me a weenie, but that had to be the worst MRI I have ever had in my life~!!!!! The stupid MRI Tech, had me in the most PAINFUL position my arm could possibly be in and then heavy weighted bags on top of it to help keep me from moving it!! Have you ever sweated from pain before?? Well, I was sweating like a MOFO~!!!! And to top it off she forgot to turn on the damn fan in the tube!!!! Those machine put out a major amount of heat after awhile! she wouldn't give me Valium or anything for my claustrophobia, because I have no one there with me!!! STUPID~!!!!!! So in turn I had a major panic attack torwards the end of the session~!!!!!
Anyway I have a severe distal Bicep tear. We decided not to do surgery, and think that it will scar over and heal. So we will see!! But in the mean time no nothing with it for 4-6 weeks. Then I can start some physical therapy!!! I almost wish to go ahead and have the surgery, this is a very painful injury! It keeps me awake at night throbbing and hurts all day, especially if I forget and use it!!!! which in my line of work, is hard to do!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR~~~~~~~!!!!!!~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!! Stay Strong~~!!! IPL

Quote:
A couple of years ago, I was in the hospital for celluitis (calves overswelled). One morning as I was having breakfast, a nurse rushes into my room to take my vitals (temperature, bp, etc.). Being that I was eating and drinking coffee, I asked her if we can do it after breakfast but she insisted that the night nurse failed do it and that it had to be done ASAP. She assured me that it won't take very long. So I didn't argue with her. My bp was normal and all. But then when she pulled the thermometer from my mouth, she says, "Oh my, 120. Are you feeling okay? Do you have a fever?" I looked at her with a dumb look and said, "Ma'am, I'm drinking coffee." She had that "duh" look and said, "I'll come back after breakfast." I replied, "Good idea. I'm glad that you see it my way now."
