they say some people have a reaction to uv exposure while on accutane... i would imagine it has more to do with your skin being so dry... if you decide to tan while on accutane your skin will fall right off you... trust me i tried this and your sooo dry no amount of lotion helps when you tan! i guess it would probably be dose dependant though... if you take a very low dose you may be able to get away with tanning... i hear of guys taking 10-20mg's but i have never heard of that dose being prescribed! its normally more like 40-80mgs prescribed! good luck!

I wouldn't go anywhere near a tanning booth while on Accutane. It makes your skin so frail that you will end up doing some serious damage. Just wait till your cycle of acc is over.

They guy did not ask could he sunbath....he asked could he take MelanotanII
Yes....you can take MTII to keep, get some color while you are taking accutane. Accutane at higher doses....say above 30-40mg ED will make your skin very dry and very sensitive to sunlight....I personally dont like the higher doses. 10-20mg ED for 4 months or so will not have nearly the sides, and has been shown to rid the person from acne for ever in many cases.
