I think the great thing about that article is that it's from "Circulation" not some Joe's Journal abstract discussing testerosterone usage in rats that live in mountains above 25,000 feet. It's actually relevant with over 12,000 patients in the study. My doc actually liked it so much, he made copies for his male patients to read.
He did point out, however, that this was in patients whose endogenous production was low compared to others endogenous that was elevated. Would've been great if they could've said those who were low, got supplemented to bring levels up, had outcomes as good as those who had high levels to begin with. Maybe someday. Until then...everyone just takes their chances increasing their health and well-being and hope the feds don't come crashing in. ![]() |

Yes nowadays they are very afraid and that is sad in a way because I have read that low test may lead to problems.
My good friend who is now a doctor says if you bring up anything remotely close to aas or gh it is a red flag immediately and he knows of no doctor who will help in that department. You are lucky if you can find an oldtimer or one who helps you. I even asked to get blood tests done thru another doc and is initially reaction was NO!!!! then why do you want to get them done... So now I am getting them done but not to check what I wanted them to. At least I will know how my other levels are..lol
