Rx b/p med and test?

Just wanting to know if anyone has hypertension and takes beta blockers..ect... prescribed by their dr. I have a friend that wants to take" just 1 cycle" (yea right) and I was wondering what the effects of the cycle would be with someone with hypertension. Risky? Or pretty much safe? Thanks fellas.

Beta blockers have the effect of slowing down the heart, reducing the cardiac output, which decreases blood pressure. He should have no problem doing a cycle but he has to keep the water retention down by controlling estrogen. I know some guys on here dont like aromatase inhibitors from the start, but I think in this case, it is very important. Even if it means a few less pounds gained, your health is more important. He should also keep track of his blood pressure daily when he is on the cycle, just to be sure.

Yeah a diuretic would help with the water retention and blood pressure, but they are more a short term fix in this situation, and you still have the circulating estrogen. I would just play it safe and just keep on the beta blocker for now and if the blood pressure gets high, even while dealing with the increased estrogen, then a simple 20mg of lasix in the morning would be fine.
