Default very very tired for competition

ok - what can i do to not be so depleted?
i am 2 weeks from a show and more tired this time than usual
i even took off for a few days and didnt help much - my wife and i went on vacation - thought it was stress - helped very little
i need some energy for the added cardio i have been doing

B,

First good luck to you!! I wish ya the best at the show.

The question your asking is mighty complex without knowing quite a bit about your taget wieght for competition day, what your current diet is, etc, etc. I probably have as much chance of getting it right as if you asked me to do a Laplace transform after being outta school for 25 years or so. I have an idea though you might be able to still do a Laplace

When dieting I like the approach of more scientific / common sense guys like Layne Norton, Mike Katz, etc so see if this link has any helpful ideas.

Dispelling the Myths: A Logical Approach to Contest Preparation

Again good luck bro.

like ribb said, if youre diet and training have been spot on you should do fine. the peanut butter is also a good idea. i might start doing that in my normal routine as my cardio sessions kill. i think the whole sodium, water depletion thing is a little overblown as far as its usefulness is concerned. obviously you dont wanna eat a lot of salty shit and be bloated, if youre using non aromatizing gear fluid retention will be low anyways. i think the use of diuretics/sodium depletion is one of the most dangerous things in bodybuilding and i dont think id do it even if i competed. your kidneys need water. furosemide (hydrocholorthiazide too, but not as bad) is rough as hell on the kidneys and low electrolytes can cause serious health complications. if you must "dry out", use natural diuretics like caffeine, etc. one cup of coffee = three cups of piss, for me it does anyways. as for the tiredness...any chance of anemia, thyroid problems, or adrenal fatigue? you may wanna look into it as soon as ya can. make sure youre not dehydrated. good luck with your contest.

If you're not already using it add masteron to your stack. It's androgenic content will kick your energy and motivation up, it did wonders for me during contest prep.

alot of calories are burned when someone runs their mouth when arrested on a controlled delivery. my best advice is save your breath and don't try to negotiate any bargains.

I found that a little odd myself. It didn't sound like him.

after more careful consideration i should have responded:

"sorry officer, but you're wasting your time here. please rethink your priorities and focus your energy on real drugs which are addicting our children and increasing violence in our communities"

believe it or not, despite a little vanity....bodybuilders actually DO CARE!
