I am not a fire fighter myself, but I just want to give props to all who are! It takes a special type of person to run in a burning building, I think you guys are very under paid!!!!!

I fight wildland fires. I had a good friend die a year ago sucks bad. So I have first hand respect for all that risk their lives.

Sorry to hear that bro. It's sad to hear about any lost brother but his profession is very honorable, you must be proud to have known a great person.

My brother is in the academy right now, scheduled to grad this june. a bunch of close friends are on the job as well. i'm too old to get on, so Im starting classes for my emt certification so can get on the fdny that way

Thanks fatdog yea it was a pretty tough pill to swallow, he was one of those kind of guys that are just awesome in every aspect. He is greatly missed!!!
