Would it be ok to be on low dose test to help retain muscle while taking DNP?

I don't believe DNP has any particular catabolic effects, so it wouldn't be needed per say. I've run test and DNP while cutting and had no trouble at all. For me, over 200mgs of DNP daily and it just feels to much like having mono for me to any kind of decent workout. 100 daily is good for me, burns fat and I can still work hard.
But to answer the question directly, I don't see any problem with 500mgs T plus DNP (I wouldn't go much lower on test as I believe even 100 mgs weekly will shut you down, so why do just do HRT). Hope that helps Ronn

Well currently I am on (M,W,F,Sn) shots of Prop(100), EQ(200) and Winny(100ml ). Would it be ok to add the dnp on my last week of cycle? Or wait till I am off cycle?

I think it would be fine. I used DNP during the last three weeks of a long cycle using Test Cyp (600mgs/wk) and EQ (400mgs/wk) which worked great! Just hard to work out do to the lethargy.
If you haven't used DNP before, walk the does up slowly. Some people work great with 200 mgs daily, some need 400mgs. Personally I do best with 100mgs. As the half-life can take some time to build up in your system, it possible to give yourself more than you can reasonably function with before you know it (and it goes without saying its also possible to kill yourself). Also, both test and DNP can cause some bloating--so wait a few days after you stop the DNP before passing judgment) Ronn

I personally prefer to run some form of AS with DNP. I feel it helps me preserve lean muscle mass. I also feel it helps keep my strength up. I have ran it both ways on AS and off and have gotten good results both ways. Hope this helps.

From what I've read, the problem will be not being able to get in a good workout. For that reason, I plan on running it off cycle. Gear costs too much for me to waste the muscle building effects.

I would agree to keep gear going while in DNP. Remember, the metabolic rate is going to running through the roof and preservation of what you worked for is the goal. Literature says they don't want to have you training "hard" while on DNP. They recommend light to moderate intensity. I would definitely ramp up my protein intake.

DNP isn't catabolic; it's actually rather muscle-sparing, and even has a slight anabolic rebound effect for a week or so when you stop using it (not from the chemical itself, but from the mutliplied mitochondria in skeletal muscle).
You can certainly use AAS during DNP, although you won't gain as much muscle. I've never used a steroid, but people who have report that using DNP on weekends during a cycle keeps fat low while they bulk.

I too have read that it isnt catabolic, but I just get freaked out when thinking about losing that much weight. Plus with all the sides you hear about, a lil test would definately put my mind to rest.
