Hey guys just wondering if anyone has used safflower oil before? I got some by a mistake and it's filtered and I didn't want to waste it but also didn't want to use it if it's not a good idea. So if anyone has used this before let me know what your thoughts are. Thanks

I have seen all kinds of oils used. I think the most common is GSO and Cottonseed. The most popular now is EO. But I have seen Safflower used too.
I am not a brewer so I dont know how good it is to use but I have read of it being used. DGAF

I have always used grape seed or cotton seed so I'm not sure about safflower.
I will probably just stick to GSO but it would be a shame to waste filtered oil if it is good to use. ![]() |

I just read that safflower may be thinner than some of the others and is a good choice to use.

safflower works great....it's the only thign i've ever used besides grapeseed oil, but i like safflower better due to how thin it is

That's good to know because I like to use 25 gauge pins and sometimes high mg/ml is a little problematic.

25's no problem. but, even so, i like to run the syringe under hot water for a minute or so after loading it when i use a 25.....i'm not really flexible...and a little shakey when trying to hit my delts or tris....so, the thinner the better

Thanks for the input guys I used the safflower oil and all went well. It does take a little time to go through a 25 ga pin but that may be the concentration more than the oil.
