Okay, what the hell makes these threads disappear so quickly off the New Posts? I respond to a thread and it shows up after clicking the New Posts button. Hell it isn't more than an hour or so later and it disappears. What causes this? It's like everytime I post something and I want to see a response to it later the damn thread disappears off the New Posts button. Talk about something pissing you off. LOL.. It should just stay active until MODS or Admin removes it or clean up. Is this what is happening? Can't be cuz you guys aren't online when they disappear.
Someone has to know.

I posted that at 11:38 and at 12:19 this bastard disappeared off the New Posts. I wish I knew why this happens.

Did you log off by chance ? I never knew there was a "new post" button until I read this but I always went by the orange dots and the glowing threads. However, if you log off without reading them and then come back, they're no longer new
|

It only dissapears for you..cause its no longer a "new post" for you, however it will show up as a new post when others click the new post button.

It probably has to do with the boards settings. EACH 24 hours the board automatically updates itself. You may not see new posts then because non have been posted.
OR it could a glitch in the system, at which point the ADMIN or tech here will be able to work on it. I normally ALWAYS use the User CP to see replies to my own stuff or threads where I have replied to. AND I use the "New Posts" feature often too, to see what others have posted. b2J

I has to do with new to you posts...if you have seen it, read it, its no longer new to you so it will not show up for you..it will for others.
No matter how long you take to log in, if you don't log in for a week and then click new posts they will all show up, BUT after you read them all after a few mins they will not show up when you click the new posts button unless someone else posts in them. I have been an Admin/Mod on may auto and ATV boards and have been asked this question a few times.

Start to subscribe to threads you putz :P LOL I have the same trouble. But as a mod here I dont have much power at all. Im not a super mod...I can delete/edit posts and make stickies...Thats about it
