Alright hitch, not tryin to take away from the recipe you posted but this one is one that I made up in my kitchen
Ingrediants: Kashi Crunch (2 boxes) All Natural PB (regular big size) Oatmeal (2 cups ?) Protein Powder (vanilla) Maple Syrup (1 cup) Cookie Sheet (reg size but 1/2"-1" deep) Directions: Mix all ingrediants in giant pot or bowl. If you mix it bit by bit its easier than putting everything in and trying to mix(Great forearm workout). I usually put the kashi on bottom then add the peanut butter and stir around. Then add oatmeal and remix. I usually put about 12 scoops of powder into the bowl (350g protein). Then stir in the syrup. You want like a thicker, movable texture. Spray the bottom of a 1/2"-1" cookie with pam and spread the mass into the sheet. Push the mass around to fill the sheet, somewhat packing it in. Bake @ 400 for approxamately 15 minutes. Stick a toothpick into the middle to see when its ready. Remove and let cool. Attempt to cut into straight lines (you'll see if you do it) As a side note, these are specific to me, lots of calories, fat, carbs, protein. My girl will use sugar free syrup and less PB and less oatmeal to make them a little healthier for her. It'll probably take you doing it once to get it but once you do, they're great and easy on the wallet. |
