BRO being way overused IMO
Lately I have seen BRO everywhere.You got new guys who don't even know you from the boards saying hey bro wassup,hey bro,hey bro,hey bro,can you answer this question bros,hey bro,hey bro,hey bro FUCK!!
It is really starting to piss me off. The only ppl you should be calling bro are ppl that you know from the boards.PPl you have dealt with in the past and ppl that you have chatted or communicated in some way to.ppl that you would consider a "friend" of sorts and respect. I call ppl bro but these are ppl that I have grown to respect in this community,and who know me. Maybe I am overreacting but I just think it is getting out of hand. I haven't been part of this community for years like some of you have but I just feel that the unwritten rules,and common sence are just being thrown by the wayside and ignored. AHHHH thank you for letting me vent Kartel

I agree, its the unwritten courtesys that have been left by the wayside, not just within the community but for the most part humanity as a whole. Remember back when someone shook your hand and looked you in the eye and it meant something? You correctly knew that this person was honourable and had integrity, and that they wouldn't screw you over. Ahh those were the days. Just my two cents. But think about this, what if everyone kept their word, what would the world be like today? Sorry if I hijacked your thread Kartel.

I make feeble attempts at trying NOT to use it. I try other things...M8 (*mate), dude, man, asshole, ect...
I think that bro is a short term for "brotherhood if iron and gear" I know a guy, errr He's my twin. Never stepped foot in a gym in his entire life. That asshole started taking gear and have the bollocks to use ME as a ref! He sent Borrochopower an email like this: Hey bro. Dansteelman is my bro. I need xxxx. Can you get that for me bro Thanks Bro! Thats cheeky and unwarranted. I agree that saying bro to people you hardly know is getting out of hand. Some people around here converse back and forth all the time. There is a brotherhood. If you are some stupid fucking punk ass bitch who just uses gear because your wife is so fucking ugly, Dont come to my thread and call me bro! get it?!?! BRO! haha I think my point is made! D.

its all about respect but honestly ive not paid much attention to it , with me being irish ive just kindda always seen "bro" as an american way of saying "mate" as we say here.
this is the first bro thread ive ever seen and now i will be all fuked up over people calling me bro who i dont know. i have many bro"s on the boards and many i shall meet someday , there are true bro"S off mine.. kartel is my bro.

May be its overused.....maybe its also used out of respect sometimes....maybe folks who don't want to be addressed by using bro should tell the other hey "bro" don't call me bro unless you know me.
I call my close friends..very few of them "cuz" you know like blood. And I feel that some folks, me included see you guys that are doing the same things that some considered are on the dark side as like people and my bros, or should I say homies...lol I guess its like some of my black friends that now I call ni**a anyitme I want and its cool but when I first met them I damn near had to whoop a few of their asses for saying that...lol. Anyhow I will not address you as bro Kartel if you request it...sorry bro..oh damn my bad cuz.
