Yo guys, this is my first post since introducin myself. I'm currently a natural lifter, planning on making the jump... even more so since today's session.
I was doing a RE upper body day today, decline barbell bench, flyes, incline dumbbell press, and cable crossovers... On my last set last rep with incline dumbbell presses I locked out and my left arm just collapsed leaving some nice swelling and a nasty strain / possible tear in the triceps head region. Fucking terrible. Any thoughts on recovery from this injury besides lots of sleep and ibuprofen? Would electrolytes and lots of water help? |

I am not sure what you mean by the term "RE upper body day"?
& no, not to my knowledge. You went to see a doc right? What did he tell you...they should tell you to take off so many weeks, then you go back trying to build up the strength lightly. Sorry bud, there is no miracle pill. But you should def drink plenty of water, motrin "800mg" & sleep. Electrolytes is BS...just a lot of pure natural H2O. |

That sucks bro,nextBIGone is right you need to see a Dr.Put some ice on it and yea the motrin and all that good stuff.Keep us updated.

definately do NOT make the jump you are referring to, until you have healed fully. AAS will not cure your injury only aggravate it. better you lose a littel mass now and fully recover than push through an injury for no real good reason and have it haunt you for a very long time. Ice, rest, and a slow build up to where you were..

Hows the arm feeling. I know how you feel to day I tweaked my back and I'm going to have to lay low for a couple of weeks.
