I am curious if someone was on HRT, would this effect him competing in competitions. Natural or untested?

So that would make you not be able to participate in the natty shows, but what about the shows that do not test? I guess you wouldn't have to tell them eh??

First off, I've never competed, nor am I anything like a pro bodybuilder, just someone with experience in drug tests and lies of omission.
Well, if there's no test, then why tell them anything? Drug abuse is only taking drugs that aren't prescribed by a licensed medical professional or taking more than the dosage you're instructed to take. I see no problem, because you can answer the question "Are you taking any illegal performance enhancing drugs?" with an honest "No." Just my $.02 Last edited by noname : 01-25-2008 at 09:43 AM. So your saying that being on TRT will be caught in a drug test for natural contests. I guess I am confused because I get tested 1 time a year since being on TRT and it comes back that my free test is in the low normal range which doesn't sound like that would raise and concerns for drug testing. Maybe I'm missing something but that doesn't make any sense to me.

Yup you will test in the normal range but they do not just test to see if you at supraphysical levels or normal levels they are testing for synthetic hormones and any Test be it C, E or Prop whatever that is not produced by your body shows up.

Thanks for clarifying that, kind of sucks for us older people then to try and compete at a natural contest.
