Starting your own supplement company

Ok, i'm going to give another shot at making a supplement line. My first try wasnt that successful due to lack of marketing (my fault) and crappy appearance (shitty looking labels and regular white plastic bottles - manufacturers fault)

I know where to get the raws and the compounding done....but i need to find good companies for the following:

1) badass high quality labels (like BSN, EvoLabs,etc)

2) unique and/or custom made plastic containers

3) and the best prices for #1 and #2


if any of you has experience in the area please PM me.....i'll be bringing some innovative supplements and combinations to the market that should really stir some shit up with the big boys!

as far as labels go, i would go to a design company with the idea. that would be your best bet. maybe talk to trueprotien about the bottles. i know forte design group does the labels and bottles for BSN. hope that helps. Trueprotien can prolly help u with everything.

Hey my friend I just joined here but been in the business for awhile. If you need any help maybe I can do something I started a supplement company with a guy named Brian Greenhouse who also owns Cytocharge. He was lead developer for EAS for years. Funny thing is he came to my room mates show the Kentuckymuscle pro show(pro figure show) and we are now starting a new line. I tell you what it's been tough as hell but we got the trademark and our formulas done so we are moving forward. i hate to be rude bro, but i saw your website and i hope you didnt put too much money into those supplements because they're all pretty outdated and seem to be poorly researched. If the lead developer for EAS came up with those formulas then i would question if he really has kept up with the nutrition industry over the last 10 years at all. I really don't see why you would even trademark those formulas when theyre nothing innovative. I'm not trying to bust your balls for no good reason, just don't want to see you lose alot of money because a supplement line is only worthwhile if you take it to a national distribution level.

Yea those supps look way outdated. The best supplement out right now is a creatine and meal optimizer all in one by Avant research. You take three servings a day and a tub is enough to last for a month.

I've seen that and wasnt too impressed by it although their Napalm looks really good. I dont know a distributor that carries Avant Research though.

Nutraplanet.com has their stuff... The napalm is like Targex with some extra ingredents, I liked it.

Yes sir he did his name is Brian Greenhouse but let me tell you the whole story. That product line is a wholefood line which meets all requiremenst for wholefood. Our trademarked line is called Biochemicalsportsperformance and this line will be jacked up and be hitting stores in a few months.I have a lot of work to do but it's better to have 2 lines that fit everyone than just one. I also promote the Kentuckymuslce pro show which is a lifting point for these lines until we get sales up, my show was sanctiones by Jim Manion himself. The numbers are on the site you can reach me there. I will be at the Arnold Classic in the Europa booth with Rick Lohre who personally works for MAnion and Gary Utech who is one of the main IFBB pro judges. We have also been picked up by a company called ALR for the show and this will be of great help. I understand where you are coming from but please see the whole picture before you judge my friend but I take no offense. I am tied into some great people and with a little time and luck we will be there soon. Remember the new line is Biochemicalsportsperformance and look up Brian if you want he is the real deal just not good at makreting.
