Who saw the Gracie/Hughes fight?
very disappointing and Gracie was in horrible shape.....I think the next fight between Tito Ortiz and Ken Shamrock will be much better!

I lost $200 on that damn fight. He didn't even put up a fight. I guess we shouldn't have expected him to be as good as he was 10 years ago.

I think Shamrock is gonna get walked all over. He was awsome back in his day but he's just gettin to old I hate to say. I mean shit he used to be my fav, I used to rentthe ufc's when I was a kid at themovie store just to watch him but he's gonna get his ass kicked.

Hughes proved exactly what he has been saying all along.Gracie CAN'T hang with todays UFC guys.Plain and simple.The man looked pathetic IMO
Shamrock needs to hang em up and retire.The guy is gonna get stomped by Tito. I will say this.I always thought Tito was too much of a mouth and didn't really respect him as a fighter,but after this years season of UFC.I have a new found respect for the man.He loves the sport and really seems to care about the guys on his team. I also am hoping that we get to see an Assasin VS King Fisher lightweight match. Those two are hungry and very exciting to watch.I think it would be an amazing fight. Kartel

Yeah you can't judge a fighter by his fighting persona. Tito's whole gig was the Bad Boy off MMA. I've met Tito and he was a class act when I met him. Very friendly and sincere. He's all about hype. This is fucking America, hype sells. Anybody that knows anything about MMA, knows Royce had little chance of winning. But many of the viewers were bandwagon fans that bought into the Royce hype. I respect Royce, but it was pretty evident he was outmatched from the day they called this fight to the public.
Props to Royce for stepping up and he's still legend. However, there are new legends to be made. 13fingers

One thing I like about Tito is that he's human. He's emotional but not over-emotional. He's gonna stomp Ken again and I hope Matt takes UF this season.

As soon as I first heard Gracie was going to fight Hughes, I started laughing. And then finally seeing Royce's face when Matt stepped into the ring was priceless. I believe that Gracie only wants a few more fights to make himself some more cash- all he has to do is show up.
Oh... and Shamrock is going to just... die.

I agree that the fight was not what I expected at all. I figured hughes would dominate the stand up and try to avoid going to the ground with Gracie. Pure wrestlers always have a hard time on the floor with JJ, I know that matt is a well rounded fighter but I just thought that Royce would of controlled the gorund game a little more. Anyways it was a disapponting fight for me.
Tito and Frank I think will be a dull fight. The last two times that I have seen Frank fight it looked like he just showed up for th money. Hopefully he has something to prove against Tito and it turns into a war. ERC
