Yes I train in martial arts, while I am not sure what qualifies as "mixed" I did judo and wrestling from junior high through highschool, my stepdad was a boxer so I grew up boxing since I was eight, and I now do Krav Maga, and have taken up TKD in the last 6 months, I have also studied so kempo, and Aikido. there is a local place that does mma style sparing. just have not gone down to get down!!!

Im sort of with fit4life on this not sure what qualifies for MMA but wrestled through high school and had partial scholarship to college and trained in Judo for a long time to a brown belt then switched to brazilian jujitsu but I train traditional style with a gi. Since jujitsu is originally based on Judo it was a fairly easy transition for me.

No real skill in boxing or striking I usuall train at a local jujitsu dojo here 3-4 months out of a year then it's back to lifting for me it gives my old ass a chance to recover from lifiting and work on keeping my flexibilty up.

Oh, i like doing it. I just probably won't compete at all. I did wrestle in hs and football and then fell into bb. If mma had been more visible, I'm certain i would have taken it up out of hs.

That said, i gave up training at my current club because they have 5x6 minute sparring rounds after instruction. Being a musclehead, you might realize immediately that that long a sparring round is going to totally fuck up your muscle retention.

I did not want to see 30 lbs of hard-earned muscle get pissed away rolling around doing the equivalent of a hard 5 mile run.

i'm working on finding another club. Personally, I've never had a street fight go longer than a couple minutes. I don't know why you would train so much...

Not right now, but I have. I also got my butt kicked 98% of the time and couldn't pull off an armbar I also trained boxing for striking but only learned about 5 combinations.
