UFC80 Rapid Fire
What do you guys think?
I'll take Penn over Stephenson. Gonzaga over Werdum. Macus Davis over the French Dude. Lambert over Gouveia Grove over Rivera The rest I don't give a damn about. Penn should finally have another championship at 155. IMO, Penn and GSP are the best fighters in the biz today. cheers bros.

BJ doesnt get the respect he deserves and i completely agree with you DDB. He puts on technique cliniques and OPENLY ADMITS TO NOT CONDITIONING AND DOING HARDCARE CARDIO. When he is in training he eats chinese and garbage. He really is a prodigy and is simply imbuned with talent. Fighting at 155 forces him to be lean and i am anxious to see him continue in that weight class.
To be honest I hate when heavyweight fights are on the card, heavyweights as of late are an embarassment to the sport....out side of randy and fedor.

I still dont understand the whole contract situation but it sounds like by the time he fights again he'll have a year off...

I don't think the couture/Fedor fight will ever happen. Too many contract issues. Plus, randy is 44? How much longer can he go? Natural or not, I don't think he can fight like a champion when he's leaning on 50.
just my opinion. Love to see the fight happen, but i think the UFC is pretty pissed off with him and i don't think, i) they will arrange it, or ii) let him out of his contract so he can fight in some other organization.

They are not going to let him out of his contact that is why it can't happen til late 08' when his contract is up. Again I do not fully understand the contractual issues but I believe he had one more fight in his contract or can wait something like 6mths till his contract is up. But there could be other stipulations...
He is still in better shape than most of the HW's. But I don't see Fedor losing if they ever fight.
