Whats that one thing you will always regret?

What is the one thing you will never forget that you did, or did not do, that changed your path in life?

Is there something you remember daily, or perhaps an occasion, where you made a decision that was not best.
We all have made good and bad decisions in life, sometimes those decisions have long term effect on us in many avenues (love, financially, emotionally)

What is your situation? Was it related to a long lost love?

ok i shall go first.

i have many regrets in my time.
one major one is the fact that when i lost my ex fiancee and my house and all the rest of it at the time , well 4 months after that thru major major depression i tried to kill myself.
i took close to 100 paracetomol tablets and was rushed to hospital 2 days later.
at the time i was 260lbs or so and wanting to compete in the march time show.
i just could not cope with the pain anymore and thought death would be the best way out.
i survived ofcourse lol , and came out of hospital at 180lbs.
i lost all that due to a girl... damn i regret that now and thing is i now have the perfect girl in my life and she supports me 110% with all my goals.
im now up to 245lbs and hoping to compete within the next 3 years.
even moving to america and i have lots off friends from the boards who want to meet up when i arrive,, so things are good now and i always believe that no matter how bad today is there always is a brighter day in the future.

i know deep down if id never met kat id be dead now , she gave me life and made me feel real love

Wow! Hitch, My heart goes out to you bro, that is pretty crazy. I can't really follow that up. At least I wouldn't to down play your struggle with some BS. My life has been tough, but anything I could say would pale in comparison.

I'm going through a real reflective period in my life right now, so I may one day be able to answer this question, but I'm not sure I can right now.

There is very little that I actually "regret" in life. I believe that as long as you can learn from your mistakes, you're fine. Our every experience in life from the past makes us who we are today.

My regret in life is that I may have been too much of an adolescent in my teens towards my mother. She has over the past fifteen years been diagnosed with Multiple Sclirosis and now, in retrospect I feel I may have been a direct part of. I regret that, if it is in fact true, every day of my life.

I have learned from that and now give the most respect of a human being to her. By the way, I agree with your statement RX. We do learn and become better ppl.

My only true regret is buying that damn motorcycle. It changed my life so much for the worse. Lost a killer job, spent so much time in ICU and came out 143lbs, lost my car (2003 T-bird), my bike, 42% of my brain does not work....I regret the bike so much because I bought it so me and another female I was seeing could ride together. I was cheating on my ex with her...what a big fuck up...I have learned my lesson lol
