Ok, this hasn't been brought up at this point since our member count has been rising and posts are coming like crazy. Here's the deal fellas. It is regarding references. If you are required by a source to give references you need to make damn sure that you have asked whoever it is you are going to use that it is okay BEFORE you mention any names.

I for one take this as a huge disrespect and I am sure I can speak on behalf of other people who have worked hard for the respect they currently have from sources and members of this board and may others. If someone allows you to use them as a reference the very first thing you should do is tell your source to let you get with that person and again ensure it is okay to use their name. Once you receive the ok from that person they will PM or email the source, when they get time, that you are good to go. Do not hassle anyone at this board trying to lure someone to ref for you. This in my opinion is a Security Risk and I will do whatever is in my power to have you blacklisted as such and banned from this board.

We have a team of great people here that are willing to assist, including me, but if anyone here breaks a rule of this magnitude I can assure there will be consequences if I am involved in any way. Please respect the other members of our board the same as you wish to be respected and provide them with the same courtesy you would anyone else. If you ever have questions, simply ask before you act. This should not be an issue again.

I'm curious why members are complaining to the Marketing Rep instead of coming to the Mods or Admin? I havent had a single PM about this.

I agree with this post though. Asking first to use someone as a reference is part of good Board Etiquette and should be a no-brainer.

Sources, always check references.
