Ok, these days we have so many choices in tanning beds:

Level 1
Level 2
Level 3
Level 4
Level 5

UVA
UVB
UVA + UVB

Flat beds
Standing beds
Chair beds
High pressure beds


Lets discuss them all! ....The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

I go for cheap and effective. I've found that the "best" beds are usually a way to con you out of your money. Since nobody wants the cheapy one because they think it's cheap they never get it. I do, I'm black as hell.

I prefer high pressure because they are the quickest...I hate tanning and would rather inject my calves with prop half the time then lay in a bed for more than 10 mins...

Yep, I use the standard Level 1 bed. I've paid as high as $30.00 for one session in the high level beds and found that I got less results than the level 1!!

Also, I never really found substantial differences in lotion either. Seems the high price lotion makes you look really dark when you come out of the bed, but then fades away in the next 15 minutes to the point where the cheap lotion would have brought you initially (make sense? lol!). That's my experience anyway.

Got my tanning package today with my girl. She was really adiment about going to a place with high pressure beds because she's worried about her skin. I just wanted the cheapest place to go for a month, because that's all I'm using it for, a month.

Myself and my girl don't go tanning, I've got a show soon and she's got something going on as well so we both need to add a lot of color.

Anyway, we found a place that has different hp beds. Laying w/ face, laying w/o face, standing w/o face. They had a deal buy one month package, second month package half off. We each got a month of standing hp beds for 90 bucks ($45 person). I didn't think that was too bad so I caved in to the woman and chose the hp bed. Let everyone know what I think.

I get the cheapest package available - and sign up during a long term sale deal. I use stand-up beds almost always, unless I'm really tired, in which case I lie down and get a 20 minute nap.

That way, I have money for melanotan, baby. I'm a pretty fair-skinned guy by nature, but on a 3 week low dose melanotan cycle, I got at least as dark as Mass - probably darker. Not trying to outdo you, brother, but my wife begged me to stop, and all the black guys at the gym were staring at me as I walked by.

Oh, and never, never ever buy lotion at the tanning place - it's like $60 or more. There's a great place online to get bottles for 10-15 bucks each, the same stuff they sell in the store. I'll post a link in a bit, I actually need to order some again.
