UFC 79 sucked.

Am i right here? It totally sucked. Almost every match except for Short Fuse and Doerkson.

Bisping and Evans was world class flop. Both didn't give it all and Evans was totally playing the the lay and pray after taking bisping down.

what do you guys think?

Did not watch it. Although I did see the replay of Alexander-Silva n thought that fight was ok..n Thiago should be around for awhile in the LHW division.. You have to remember fighters no matter what they say are not in there to put on a good show per say but more or less they want that win no matter what it takes. Whether it be lay n pray or swing away...
In the end they want a belt of some sort n to be #1 in their division...
I usually like all the fights no matter how they turn out.... Yes some are more entertaining then others but I like em all just cas it isnt about putting on a show like WWF or whatever but actually using your head and what is going to work best for you... Sometimes it is boring but I'd rather get the win anyway possible and move up the rankings then lose.
But I guess from a fan perspective knockouts are more entertaining....

Problem was, In most cases there was a dominant fighter who could get the take down, but couldn't pass guard, couldn't mount, or otherwise could not finish the fight. So instead they stay in guard and throw a few punches and elbows, then they get up and do the same thing.

I think, if they could have closed, they would have. But the audience is left with this boring assed fight.

Well I am glad then I didnt order it...
I was debating but the card didnt look that entertaining so
I was like f*k it I'll just read about it sunday morning....
