Here is the thing the media doesn't sensationalize this because they don't want the truth getting out.

I mean look what just happened with Blackwater, opening fire on civilians and getting caught smuggling weapons to terrorist, bet you didn't much about that in the news Feds Probe Blackwater Weapons Smuggling

You probably do have more perspective on the situation than I do my extent is a couple of High School buddies that are serving.

I have been in the military since I was 17 man. There are many things that the public will never know about, or really see how it is unless you have been there or know somebody who has been there.
And don't worry, I'm not mad at ya for having our own opinions, you can actually thank my friends and I for you being able to have those opinions

Just keep in mind man, not all is what it seems. They only report the bad and the reason for that is that is what makes news, they don;t want to report to you warm and fuzzies, they want you to think that the world is in trouble, and that is how they get you to come back to their programs, sites and such.
hey do not want you to know about the 100's of school made, or how generation jsut now got their first chance to vote (remember the purple fingers?) or how females are only now allowed to work and have equal rights.
If you really want to see what is going on, google "iraq military blog" and read wha the guys there are posting. The men who see the real nature of war are posting their thoughts to battle the media to get you the info that you should really know, the good stuff that goes on and the lives that are being changed by us being there. Another great site is Benefiting the US Army, US Navy, US Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard - Military.com it has links to how life is for the guys along with the blogs.
And again, I am happy you have your own opinions, I signed the last nearly 10 years of my life away so you can have that opinion, but please make your opinion with an open mind edjucated on the subjects at hand. If there is something bothering you, the search deep in to it, maybe it is something fucked up, or maybe it is a misunderstanding in the way you took in the knowledge, or just the media and their lies.

I was in the Air Force for 3 yrs and got out on a medical, I don't have first hand knowledge since the AF seemed like a civilian job. I have much respect for the men and women and what they are doing, but looking at the state of affairs I would have to say our leaders dont care to much

Part of the problem here is that Americans tend to forget that it's a WAR! We have or military over there and because of rules of engagement they are not allowed to shoot anyone unless they are shot at first. We will never be able to win any wars not being able to shoot any one. Unfortunately there are innocent bystanders that get hurt, but shit happens. Everyone needs think about all of the Americans that are being picked off one by one because we don't have the right to engage unless fired upon. War is not pretty! It's not meant to be! Why don't you guys spend more time worried about all of the firefighters and civilians that have respitory conditions from when the Towers collasped. I am not aiming this statement towards any one, but I get tired of hearing about shit like this. Nobody seems to care about any of the Americans that have fallen. This is something that has not even been proven. There are kids in the US that are born with disabilities, does this mean that there is some conspiracy?
