How Long for Levels to go DOWN??

Ok, here is my question: How long does it for IGF levels to go down before being tested? I was prescribed 1 iu a day, but have been playing around with 2 iu's. How long before my next test should I drop the extra dose so my test results come in at more normal levels? Thanks!!
