Thread format

I dont know about you all but I think it would be a little easier to follow a thread if it started with the first post and went top down, instead of from the bottom up. Can we take a vote and see if we can get Anon to change it. I hope I dont get flamed for asking an old question.

Are you asking about oldest to newest,and vice versa, you can fix this in the contriol panel , you will find it if you look, I will save the flaming...LOL

The post order got me too when I first joined here. I had to go to the last post which was really the first post and read up. Then I got to configuring my control panel and found that I could change it, I was so relieved!

I changed my thread format the same way, but when you click to go to the second page, it brings up the main thread again and doesnt show the second page of posts. Any help on how to see the second page of posts?

Holy crap, i finally found out where the problem was....in my new user registration settings. So from this point forward nobody else will have this problem.


For those of you who are still viewing it the retarded way (I had no idea because mine was fine for some reason) here's how you change it:

*See that yellow bar at the top of the page?*

- User CP

---> Settings and Options / Edit Options

---> Thread Display Options / Thread Display Mode

Change to "Linear - Oldest First"


that should fix the problem......sorry guys, i had no idea in almost 3 years that everyone was having this problem. Wish you would have said something sooner.
