How widely you think they are used in sports? I know many atheletes use them. The reason I ask is because I used to believe all almost every Football player was on them, however my buddy is a ex pro player and he says it's not as commom as thought. He said most cats are genetic freaks and get a bad rap because of it. He also explained that they train hours beyond hours and days upon days on conditioning. They also have the best personal trainers and science to get these guys looking the way they do. I believe he believes this, but I think maybe he was naive to the use a little, because he didn't use them. What do you guys think and share your experience please?

I have no personal experience or personal knowledge about AAS use in pro sports but I think the stats and the overall size of the players speak volumes.
True football players have always been pretty large but there are sooo many players over 300lbs these days that it makes you wonder. Also true is that prior to the Jose Canseco era, weight training was taboo in professional baseball, which was why they were all pretty slim in comparison to today's players. But simply lifting weights did not create some of the guys out there today. I am pretty convinced that even in the light of testing policies, AAS use is still prevelent in professional sports today. Just look at the Balco story and Barry Bonds....Balco was designing undetectable steroids and apparantly did so successfully. I am pretty sure there are more than one 'balco' out there and highly competitive athletes in search of records and huge contracts will forever be tempted to take an 'enhancer' that's not detectable. Hell, why not? Other than it's cheating....but what the hell??? Any attempt on my behalf to throw percentages of players I think have used would be a SWAG (scientific wild ass guess) so I will refrain, but I am sure it's more than people want to admit. |

yeah alot of these guys i see there is no way they have the best trainers maybe the best roids or other chemical enchanments but not the best trainers and alot of these professional athletes are way past the age at which they would grow like that
