Today was a Great fkn day. I got my money back from MG! With no id! It was a hairy ride, but i lucked out. He had to call the HQ and do it over the phone....there were many pitfalls i had to overcome. She asked him if he checked my id. He said yes to her even though he had no proof of my identity. She wanted to issue a money order in my (fake) name. I told him i was running over to WU right from there as that was the only service(as i belatedly found out) that i could use. So he told her No. And she gave him a check number, and he gave me cash out of his cigar box.

a few points:

best to go to a mom and pop drugstore with one clerk usually manning the transfers. I wouldnt have shit to show today if i wouldve had to deal with another employee.

get your ass back there ASAFP to get the refund(24hrs)

count on the phone operator to verbally confirm the id check.

have a story ready bc he was upset and concerned even though he turned out to be cool, He still was inquiring.

yea...it was a hell of a toboggan ride. I would recommend everybody double check their shit over as many times as they need and especially if they waited from when they placed their order as things can change.


without id, you have a 1 in ten chance id say. you have to be cool and just flow with the situation. he was upset at first but then i won his sympathy..thank god the person i was sending to was a woman. it made my story fly so much easier.

hope this thread helps someone out there who may just be getting started or may find themselves in a similar situation.
