i just went on WU online to price out a transaction. Sending money to a college friend in Moldova. Im on east coast US. It just said to send 210 USD would merit a fee of 34 fucking goddamn stinking dollars. Please tell me thats only the online fee. Thats fucking outrageous im sorry. I did money in minutes as thats what i read on here to use. Would economy be ok instead? Sorry to rant i just thought this was cheaper. Un fuckin real.

I have had to WU some money here three times this summer and a damn fee of 30 bucks every time. Thats in person AND online. What a rip.

WU fees are real expensive. The fee online is about $5 more than if you went to a place that sends WU. I prefer Moneygram because international fees are only $10 for transactions up to $500.

yep, MG is just better all around imo. You can try to send next day (economy), but in some areas it is not an option. If it is an option, it will save you a bit of $, you will just need to tell your friend the info on the next day so they don't try to pick it up before it is ready.

My wife wroks at a place that sends WU tranfers and she just told me that international dont give the option for next day or money in minutes. It just goes to the sending screen, unlike tranfers in the US it goes to a screen that gives the option of money in minutes or next day.

thats odd bc on the WU site it lets u opt for the money in minutes going from US to moldava.

fellaz. Whats the feedback on MG online? If not...where can u do it in person? Ive heard some negatives about moneygram....anyone got anytthing to say about that? Just trying to figure out what to do..as i only have 2 days left before my friend gets deleted. =\

Moneygram doesnt require ID unless it is $900 or more. Dont ask why they require ID for that amount, that is what the lady told me when I sent it.
