Hey all,
I've done some researching and come up with no real definite answer; so I thought I'd ask here: Unfortunatly, under my current living circumstances (age of house, shared electric bill, part of country) there is no way to maintain a constant temperature range of 68 - 72 degrees Fahrenheit (20 - 22 Celsius) in the room where the gear is stored. Realistically, the temperate in the room ranges from 58 - 70 degrees Fahrenheit (14 - 21 Celsius). The Gear is insulated within a thin layer of toilet paper and then again inside of a sock. Are there any negative effects associated with storing Gear in the above mentioned temperatures? -E |

As far as I can recall it's excessive heat that is bad, not excessive cold, however the temps you mention aren't really too cold so I think you're fine.

Excessive cold temperatures will not hurt the gear.
Temperatures that fluctuate dramatically, from real cold to real hot, will ruin the hormone. Very high temperature conditions for prolonged periods of time will also degrade the hormone after a period of time.A few nights wont hurt it. I've kept Test E in the freezer for over 6 months and the test came back 4mg under label claim. |
