how long have some of you bros been on for at the present time? Im interested to know regarding both long cycles themselves, and also how long youve been blasting and cruising for or have in the past. Im trying to see how many bros are operating this way and what kind of health effects(or lack thereof) and gains theyve seen or are still seeing.

I hat to admit it but I've been bridging my cycles this year, so basically
I've been on since march '07. My real "on cycle" was 8 weeks with 1000mgs test, some dbol-30-50mgs, tren-225-300mgs, and eq or deca 400-600mgs depending on availability. My Bridges have been 250-500mgs test and maybe 20mgs dbol to keep me going until the next blitz cycle. I didn't really run things this way purposely. My intention was to run a higher dose for 16-24 weeks, I tend to like longer cycles and they are advocated by Dave Palumbo also. Unfortunately I've hit two big economic snag this year that througha wrench into my cycle plans. I had plans to run MGF and IGF-1LR3 and purchased 2mgs and 1mg respectively but haven't begunthem because of my inconsistent cycles. I also hit another snag when I had a minor pec tear during one blitz cycle. No surgery required but no gym for two weeks and then light weights fo another two weeks to get bck in the swing an be sure that it was healing properly. That's a story for another thread though.

In the late 90s I stayed on for 4 years with no off time, I would just change up every 12 weeks. (sust 500mg/week, deca 600mg/week, and 30mg/day for 1st 12 weeks, then eq 450mg, winny 300mg, test prop 300-400mg/week for the next and so on. Never had any sides as long as I kept the test at 500mg/week or less. High amounts of test (1000mg/week) made my blood pressure too high. I've been off for 6 years and only down 10lbs from when I juiced (with a little more body fat, so the loss is closer to 15lbs).

Weight gains were not very high compared to alot of people I've seen, but I had been on 8-12 week cycles for with equal off time for 3 years prior to the 4 year run, so I was'nt exactly fresh. At the start of the four year run I was about 195 lbs. with 6% BF at 5'8". At the end I was 235 lbs at about 5%. The big difference being off is mostly cosmetic, you lose all the vascularity and detail. I also lost strength (at least 100 lbs on the big three), but I never really cared how much I could bench. (I know, I know, its taboo not to care about your bench)
![]() This is'nt an endorsement to juice year round, but if you can handle the legal ramifications and take the time to look after your health it can work nicely. -U |
