I use to do boxing untill i got to big to figth in matches.
The heavyiest guy in the local boxing club was 13 and half stone , thats about 185lbs while i was 260lbs 2 and half years into bodybuilding , so the wee guy was outweighed lol. so i gave it up to focus on competing in bodybuilding , i was 260lbs at 21 years old then personal things happened in my life and stupid me took an overdose and ended up nearly dead in hospital , i went from 255lbs to 200lbs within 4 - 6 weeks , but im now up to 242lbs again and hoping to hit 260lbs by january. |

Honestly, I like UFC Better. Besides the fact that a decent amount of my training partners do/have fought in UFC, I just like the production better. I think there are good and bad fighters in both, but Japan has way worse "cans" than the UFC ever will. The only thing I like more about Pride is the Fans. American Fans are uneducated (for the most part) and are very disrespectful towards fighters. Most drunken rednecks think they could actually do this. Japan's fans are very respectful to the winner and loser alike and are just happy that the fighters were willing to sacrifice themselves for the fan's entertainment.

Oy yeah, 13fingers, I'm guessing by your pictures that we don't train with the same people. I assume you compete in Sub Grappling as well? Are you gonna make it out to NAGA in Chicago? If not, I'll be in Ohio for the one on July 22nd, What weight do you wrestle/fight at?

As a matter of fact, I will be at Naga in Chicago. I spoke with Kip from NAGA and he said Columbus isn't set yet. I probably do that as well (live too close not to). I should weight in around under 200lbs. I may have trouble with weight this year.
I usually fight at 205lbs and grapple at 200lbs depending on tourney. I was considering moving down to 187 or so. I may try cutting down and seeing how I like it (next year of course). I have done exceptionally well at 200lbs, 187lbs everyone thinks I would be murderer...lol. I walk around at about 215lbs at the moment. You be at NAGA in Chicago? I think I may be the only one going from my team. I'll know people up there, however I'll be the only one representing OH-Nova Uniao Team. You competing? ![]()
