NAZI ITEMS

Good god i sound racist with my debates lol.
I can assure you all that im not racist, Me and my wife have friends from india, thailand and africa lol. Which reminds me that we have a BBQ with them next week.


Ok so im asking this.

I collect items from the wars. I have mainly only military medals and first world war helmets type things.
After time i spent researching the vietnam war and knowing finally which items i wish to require, Ive now stumbled across third reich items.
Some people think its kindda sinister for me to want real Nazi items.
But it is history and its the modern history which has gave us the freedom we live each day.
I want to buy the origanal Nazi flag and an origanal nazi machine gun.
Also i found some nice third reich military hats which belonged to an officer in the SS.
But i will admit i felt uneasy when i came across an origanal empty gas canister which was used in a concentration camp. That was used to murder people.
But my debate is, How far can you really go in collecting these items without it crossing a line on ethics?.

gas canister is a bit offputting...but the rest of the items have their place in history...

the Germans of today, 99% of them stand by the fact that they had nothing to do with what was done

just as being a new age white man in america, i had nothing to do with slavery

now if you have a whole room devoted to the third reich, that may be a bit hard to explain

I enjoy history more than the next usually and would be intrigued by anything of historical value especially guns and such, I think your hobby would not be hard to justify, so long as you don't have the swastika flag flying above your head board..

I just love collecting history items, my favourite is military items.
I have medals from the first world war, vietnam war, korean war, second world war and the gulf war.
The Nazi items in my view are just a part of history. But i really did ponder the idea of what items may cross an ethical barrier.

Im looking hard for any medals to do with the american delta force or green berets. So if anybody knows where i may find these then please PM me.

I have a large collection of German weapons from WW2, but they were passed down to me from my grandfather who took them off the germans he killed.
