Default Snoring...need help!!!

Hey guys and gals,

My girl is about to put me out because I am a snoring mofo and she's a very light sleeper. I snore no matter which position I am sleeping in. I don't drink nor smoke and I have no sinus issues. Has anyone here tried any type of snoring cure that actually worked besides having surgery?

I have to get this under control pretty quickly!

Thanks

Those little breathe right strips at night helps tremendously.

I was the same way until 3-4 months ago. I snored horribly no matter what position I sleep in. It don't matter if I weigh 245 or 215....I still snore the same. I was also very tired during the day and relied heavily on the coffee. I obtained a prescription for sleep meds because I remember waking up several times every night. I slept without remembering that I was waking up but I was still tired. I'm 36YO and wouldn't accept that it was just my age creeping up on me.

I wanted a sleep study to see if there was some reason why I was waking up so often...insomnia is what I figured I had. I had the sleep study and found out that I had moderate apnea. I stopped breathing and woke up or was 'aroused' over 150 times in my 6.5 hour study. Damn! There are 5 stages of sleep with the 4th and 5th being the heaviest where you dream. I never even made it past the 3rd stage. Shit, no wonder I was always tired.

I'm now wearing a c-pap machine at night and all is well. No snoring and the quality of sleep is much much better. I actually dream at night too. And I still drink coffee. Apnea was the problem all along.

How do you know you didn't snore? Was somebody else awake at that time? I only snored most of the time.

Are you pretty tired during the day or have a hard time staying awake while watching a movie at home?
