no shit chris.
i went today to send £26 ( $50 ) and they charged me nearly the same amount in the fee. i got charged £14 to send £26 .. its a disgrace.
plus here in the uk their starting the whole u have to show ID just to send.

Moneygram is much cheaper guys, lol

I sitll use cash in mail for my services...conversion charge eats a bit in to my own money, but I take the loss to the cust. gets better product, cheaper,. lol

I only use wu for certain international thing's but a few month's ago i helped a friend out with something and had to send $250 across the state and it cost $35 dollars,i can drive across the state and it would cost me less than that in gas,never again.

There are ways that avoid ANY fees at all when involved in purchasing regularly.
This will not be disclosed on an open thread however.

And yes, the fees can certainly take a chunk out of a working man lol

WU has definately gone crazy.. It's $20 for anything below 120 or so, then they rack up the charges more after that. What kind of craziness is this!
