If 7-Eleven is open 365 days a year 7 days a week 24 hours a
day, why are there locks on the doors?

I actually know this one, lol, its to lock people in !! It happened in Vancouver, BC in the hockey riot of 1994, my friends were locked inside the downtown 7-11 for almost 4 hours. At least they didn't starve
