Default What kind/brand of gear does everyone use???

Just curious to see what type of gear everyone uses. Everything from belts and wrist wraps, to knee wraps and squat suits. So, let's hear it.

I use Metal Pro briefs and a Metal Pro squat suit.
I use Inzer wrist wraps.
I use Crain Genesis Power knee wraps (If you guys aren't familiar with Crain, they make some of the best knee wraps you'll ever use. They are cast-like when you wrap extrememly tight.) They are made right here in good ol' Oklahoma too! Check their sight, www.crainmuscleworld.com. They are serious old school when it comes to powerlifting.
I use a Crain Extreme Power belt.

I also use the metal squat suit and groove briefs. I use Ironwraps by Inzer for knees and Inzer lever belt. I use Ellis wrist wraps. I also use a erector shirt by Inzer.

I still haven't competed in anything but knee wraps and a belt but I have used or will use the following at my next competition:

Metal Black Knee Wraps (have used)
Metal Viking Presser (have trained in)
Metal Viking Squatter (it's ordered! should be here soon)
Cheap Inzer belt... I forget what it's called... Econobelt or something stupid? (have used obviously)

Will be getting a Metal Deadlifter but I dunno if I'll have it before my next competition...

If you're wondering why all the Metal gear... I train with the only Canadian distributors. So why not?!

That sounds like a pretty good reason to me...lol. Not to mention their gear is awesome! How do you like the Metal knee wraps? I've contemplated trying them, but the Crain wraps we use are unreal. I have a hard time imagining getting anymore support and rebound from any other wrap out there.

Yeah their gear is awesome! They started making their wraps at a new factory a while ago and their wraps are getting better every time a new batch comes out.

The wraps I have have incredible stopping power and a lot of rebound. The newest wraps (I tried a pair yesterday actually!) have the same stopping power and incredible rebound. Definitely a great wrap!

I didn't get my wraps in time last week to use them when I squatted, but I have them now, so I'll put them to use tomorrow night. I'm excited to see what they can do. They had two different all blacks that were different prices. I ordered the more expensive ones that said "new and improved!" Haha! Since you said they started making them at a new facility, I'd give the newest and best batch a shot. Got a pair of their all black metal wrist wraps too! They make inzer wrist wraps feel like a neoprene sleeve! I couldn't believe how tight and how much support they gave me.

Inzer everything:
Shirt
Wraps
Belt
Squat Suit

I want to try the Metal equipment though. I've heard a lot of good things and want to see what all the noise is about.

I've never used an Inzer squat suit, so I can't compare the two. But I only used Inzer wrist wraps for several years, and the second I put the Metal wrist wraps on, I immediately knew there was a difference. So, if that's any indication of how much better the rest of their gear is over Inzer, you'll be in for a treat.

BTW, been using my all black Metal knee wraps for two weeks now. Let me tell you, the support and rebound is unreal. You don't have to worry about hitting parallel. As soon as you get there, you start moving the other direction. I think this has to do with using all of the Metal gear in conjunction, more so than just with the wraps. But, all in all, when I get in the groove of the suit, the total movement is super smooth, and the up is usually easier than the down...lol. Just my .02.
