Ok...so this is what i have now:

and looking for a full back piece...masculine wings...with a red gradiant...
i took these 2 ideas:


and photoshopped (ok..my artist friend photoshopped) them onto my back...combining the two for this rough draft


The wings would be connected to the column, and fuller, more spread across the width

i also took into consideration these 3 ideas:




if anyone here is a graphic artist i would LOVE to hear your opinions...i plan on starting this very soon, within the next couple of weeks

if anyone could photoshop for me i would be eternally greatfull for any ideas...thanks!!!

about 12-16 sitting hours for that idea

but i'm considering putting these 2 together (well...the spine of the one, and the whole feather scheme of the other)...have the wings swoop under the stars and touch the top of my posterior delts at the tips..with a few red feathers...looking at around 8-10 hours i think for this one

Lots of ink for sure....will look good when you get it figured out.

Personally I do not like the "hard" lines of the spine piece, and the soft lines of the wings....don't really go together IMO.

nope, you're right...that's why i have to give the idea to an artist that can redraw the piece...i want the spine piece with more curve, so the 2 blend together, and look like they are the same piece...not 2 copied and pasted from 2 different designs like they are now lol

i like the red gradient alot (obviously, look at this board).....but i dont like the photoshopped design. I think you should start with the one by Ilinca Milosan and add a vertabrae design that fits that.

I have 8 smaller tats but I am way too much of a pussy to sit there for 8 hours~~~ You're more of a man than I am! Whoah!!!

None of these damn things felt great getting done but I think my forearm was the worst!

well...i was thinking 3-4 4 hour sessions at a time

and yeah....i dont really like bee stings either lol
