There used to be ther prevailing theory that FDR new about Pearl Harbor. The United States' government had cracked the Japan's communication codes, but claimed to not have fully understood what was going to take place. Even if the gov't did know, Japan still attacked us. That's what it took to motivate a previously isolationalistic nation to war.
Did you know back during WWI Americans referred to sauekraut as "Liberty Cabbage?" Everything is capitalized for political advancements.

If the gov't paid attention the correct way then I truly beleive some of these instances could have been prevented. I think the resources and expenditures are focussed in the wrong areas of politics. I don't have personal opinion on it other than I beleive in our troops who die to protect us on the homefront.
And that's all I got to say about that.. ^^Forest Gump.

I agree with Tigger, those who put their lives on the line for us and what we believe in and stand for are to be given the utmost respect,admiration and honour, I just hope and pray that those who put their lives at risk "for us" know what they are doing and remember that actually lives are at stake.

I was one of those people for a long time. I can tell you that honestly when you are in the trenches and rounds are being fired over your head the last thing you think about are the nice glutonous people who are enjoying their steak dinner at the expense of your life. Given, this is why we do it however when it comes down to it, we just want to live and get home to our family, that is the motivation; not the greed, politics and/or intentions of whatever politician are in office.

Wow, that was a really good movie..... It was done really well, and all backed up by facts, documents, and eyewitness accounts..... I watched it last night, and I'm still all screwed up over it..... I sent the link to a few friends/family, just can't believe it...... My brother actually lives in Manhattan, lost alot of friends on 9/11..... I can't believe the evidence that showed the Twin Towers were knocked down my demolition..... They had pictures of the explosions, and TONS of firefighters talking about what they saw..... They heard a serious of Popping explosions that is required during a normal building demolotion..... I can remember watching TV during 9/11, and hearing about all the 2nd and 3rd explosions at Ground Zero, and the Pentagon, but didn't think much of it then.....
I also thought the information about Flight 93 was interesting..... Especially about how it's impossible to talk on a Cell phone in a plane back then..... I always knew that actually, and wondered how that was possible..... It wasn't till recently that they invented new technology to allow passangers use Cell Phones during Flight.... It's pretty crazy stuff, and EVERY American should see that Film.... rizz
