Default going from bodybuilding to strongman

Hey there.

Im going to give strongman/powerlifting a shot very soon.
Im lucky enough to be able to get trained and train with a guy who has competed in the worlds strongest man contest many times and he was also the uk"s strongest man several times. he is a big dude at 200kg bodyweight ( 450lbs )
anyway ive always been into bodybuilding and currently i weigh around 112kg ( about 248lbs ).
i need to get up to around 270lbs within the next 6 months, should be easy as im going to be eating 9-10k calories a day, 5k of it coming from milk and mammoth protein shakes.

one thing im not so sure about is if i can still be a bodybuilder at the same time.
im not going to get super fat like some of these guys, but im just confused now.
can you do bodybuilding training and strongman training together?
say bb training 3 days a week and powerlifting once or twice a week?

It seems to me that eatting that many calories it may be hard to
keep the fat off. I guess if your training hard enough you burn them up.

Last years strongman, I thinks his name is Marzhus, has a really sweet build for a strongman. Im pretty sure these guys train several times per day.
I know his diet is crazy, including pounds of bacon and candy between meals
for energy.

Hitch i know who you are training with!Take the training and all the advice you can get. It's not everyday you get to train with a pro of that caliber.

Doing both bb and strongman would be very taxing.Elena seiple did both in 2006 .Might be pretty taxing mentally though
