Igf Recon 1 or 2 ml AA

I was wondering something. If you used 2ml to reconstitute and you wanted to shoot say 60mcg, that would be the '12' mark on a 1ml pin, correct?

If so, that doesn't leave much room for the Nacl which I thought was supposed to be used at least 1:1 with the Igf/AA. I am basing this on a 1ml pin I have that only goes up to 16 ticks or 1ml.

So would it be better to recon with 1ml (so you draw less and have more room for Nacl) or am I totally lost here?

And can someone explain how you can get away with using a .5ml pin? I am sorry if these are really stupid questions but I have been looking feverishly and can't find an answer.

NOO!!! you're totally lost here. a 1ml slin pin = 100 units....that means it has 100 ticks!

if you reconstitute 1,000mcg IGF1 with 1ml AA heres the breakdown:

1,000mcg = 100 units (ticks)
500mcg = 50 units
50mcg = 5 units
10mcg = 1 unit

so 60mcg = 6 units

if you reconstituted with 2ml AA then double it.....60mcg = 12 units

so if you drew up 12 units of IGF1 solution + 12 units of NaCl water (saline) then you have 24 total units in the syringe.....which is almost 1/4 of 1ml!

by the way, if you get 30 or 50 unit syringes next time it will make the dosing more accurate.

Thanks anonymizer. What was messing me what was that I am not looking at an actual slin pin (I have them ordered though) and a regular 1ml pin is not marked like a slin pin.

2 mls of AA makes it easier to read when yer drawing it out....ya just have to draw double the amount

2ml and a 0.5cc pin makes things much easier.

right now the concensus is that acetic acid is best. maybe one of the other members has some extra they can send you.
