First I'd like to say hi guys/gals, nice board you got here.

Now a little 'bout myself. I am Canadian. I'm a 29 yr old male bodybuilder with over a decade of intense training experience. I'm always looking to improve and learn new things, and hopefully I can share some of the knowledge/experience I picked up over the yrs with others.

My three loves in life are my wife, my three staffies, and bodybuilding.

I suffer from pretty severe social phobia n' it took an xtra clonazepam just to make this post (I'm not looking for sympathy, i'm just a guy of few words) ...
Knowing that I'm surrounded by peers with similar interests and goals makes it a little easier tho

Anyways, I look forward to reading some of the previous posts, and becoming a regular forum contributor.

What the hell are Staffies? Is that like Canadian slang for kids or something?

Staffies is short for Staffordshire Bull Terriers

Darn right they are the best breed of dogs alive! I just wish people knew that.

See, for those that are interested (boring dogs facts to follow), the Pittie was bred to fight other DOGS, and therefore to be dog aggressive. But they were also bred to LOVE humans, as people had to be in the ring with the dogs while they fought, and they did not want to get bitten by those strong jaws. So most Pitties that exhibited any aggression towards people were destroyed, and then the bred eventually turned into human loving machines !!

There are so many stories about those poor pitties who are beaten and abused in horrific ways, and who yet still wag their tails and lick their humans hand.

I love them all !! And my wife and I stopped a breed ban in our town a few years back. A little education on the breed goes a long ways.
