Who likes Sushi?

I don't eat it as much as i'd like to ($$$) but this is a great food, digests easily and since its not cooked doesnt destroy the vitamins and minerals and enzymes in the fish.

My favorites are:

1) Uni (sea urchin)
2) Escolar (superwhite tuna)
3) Arctic Char (looks like salmon but tastes very different)
4) Yellowtail

anyone else have any odd favorites?

I freakin love sushi, I don't care what kind it is. My wife works at a sushi restaurant and brings me home full rolls all the time and i'll just sit and eat them like a damn boritoe (sp? i'm not fuckin mexican)

Big Sushi fan here as well. My favs.

1. Caterpillar Roll
2. Spider Roll
3. California Rolls

I have spent upwards of 5 1/2 hrs in a sushi bar. Drinking a few beers, ordering some sushi, drink a few more, order more etc.. Absolutely love it..

Yes I love sushi!!

My favorite unusual stuff: Octopus, Eel, Live Shrimp, Masago.

I love almost all sushi. Uni is definately one I do not care for. The taste and texture is just not for me.

Philadephia rolls are awesome. (salmon and cream cheese roll with salmon on top)
Shrimp Tempura rolls taste awesome but not the healthiest choice.

I love to start with my meals off with Salmon Sashimi.

And I use a TON of wasabi and ginger.

I could go on and on all day about sushi. I think I'm going tomorrow night. Tried to go last night but the place was closed already.

Uh did I read this shit right??? You've got to be kidding me right? Live shrimp? I've never heard of a Californian eating live shrimp..

I think he means the Amaebi (Sweet Shrimp)....its actually live in a tank and they chop its head off and peel the tail without cooking the shrimp. you eat the tail raw on rice and they fry the head and you eat that too.

fried shrimp head tastes like popcorn.....try it!

Was my anniversary so we picked sushi today...

This was what was I ate
Appetizer was chicken Katsu and shrimp tempura
Nato - fermented bean, most people cant handle this, i LOVE it
Sashimi- salmon
Unagi Rolls with wasabi+soy ... that was good (eel)
The entree was Bibimbap (korean but good nevertheless)
Ama-Ebi - again sashimi style - its sweet so that was dessert for me
