I'm competing in San Diego in March. I don't know what class I'll be in yet - I'm right on the light/med line. I'm not really worried about weight, tho. San Diego is a national qualifier, so Im hoping. ![]() |

Well finally a lady that compete's!!!! Yeah!!! I can never get any of the competitors on any boards to talk to me. Posted this same question on several boards all at the same time, kind of funy really!~!!
I have ready many of your posts on here, you seem to have it together girl, you should do get in march at your show. I'm not sure I'm gona hit March, but hopefully by april. I have qualified, but go injured so I never got there!!! But injuries are all repaired and body's is responding awesomely to training and getting back to the point I was at, pre injury. I did take the time to go to Las Vegas and watch them in July, 1-2 weeks after my qualifying show, I won both classes, I entered and over all. I knew that I was not ready to get up there against those big girls, I tell you its a different world!!! I wanted to watch, see what I was against, so I could see what improvements, and just how much more size I am going to have to add, to hangout with them. So thats where I am at now. So you are not sure what class you are going to go with, I don't think it matters if you are conditioned and hit everything on the spot, timing wise. The longer you compete the more you learn about your body how it responds to different methods of show prep. I always like to borderline, too though that way I have a choice, I usually go heavy weight instead of middle, because HW's seem to have a harder time getting as ripped as I can. Not to say they can't alot do, its just an observation I have come to notice thru out my years competing. I did 2 show over in Ca the contra coastal and oh crap I hate that I had it in my mind went totype it, and duh!!! It wasn't in San diego!!! You'll have to fill me in on the show, I'd love to come and watch, Its not very far from me!! I like to drive, it takes about 5-6 hrs, ususally 51/2. I love San Diego!!! Be a good excuse to get away!!! There's an old Gold's I like to go train at when I'm there right off, I-5 I want to say, maybe I-8, I know its coming back up the coast towards La Jolla. Anyway, you mind me asking if or what you are doing to get ready?? I like to listen and learn everyone's methods, and I new to the goodies game so I'm learning about this to, I like to here women's views. PM me so we can chat if you don't mind, if not, I understand. Hope to talk soon, if not Greatest of luck in March!!!
