Default BEEF!!!

I love my skinless, boneless chicken breasts, I would just like/love to incorporate some red meat into my program. A little variety can go a long way when living this type of lifestyle.

I realize that a lot of beef has a higher fat content, I'm looking for some suggestions as to which cuts of meat are lower in fat but still edible.

What I wouldn't do without my George Foreman, Heaven only knows.

Thanks.

Top round, sirloin, even lean ground beef doesn't have much fat in it. Like 5g in 3oz of 95% lean. I love beef! Chicken gets so boring to me.

it depends on the price really and how much your willing to sacrafice $$$ for FAT CONTENT

when i'm trying to add weight i like to buy Charcoal Steak. Fatty as hell but very cheap. IF I got the cash i buy Ribeye's or New York Strips and cut that little bit of fat off the edges if i'm worried about it.

Like somone else said buy some Lean 97% Ground Beef. U can make burgers, Meatloaf, Spagehti(sp?) with Whole Wheat past or Barilla Plus pasta.

I usually stick with Ground Beef atleast 97% unless i'm trying to add calories then i go down to 85% and drink Whole/Vit D or 2% Milk as well.

Thanks guys, I love red meat and I know it's great for the protein content, I just wanted to narrow down the choices.

I also realize that all fat is not bad, as long as it's kept under a reasonable level.

Thanks again.

Flank steak's great too..

You can get a lot of the fat out of a steak by pouring the juices out.. This works great for burgers.

i love me some flank...

i think the correct term for it is (spl)chateau brion .. the thick part of the fillet. that there is some lean, soft cow... yummmmmmmmmmmmm

at a grill recently, a southafrican friend of mine introduced me to texas steaks... a 3 inch thick cut right through the top of the leg, bone and all, much time a t-bone only bigger... man it was some good eating that day

Seeing it's the season here, I have been having moose meat- absolutely yummy, and probably one of the best high protein, low fat meats you can get. It's the only meat I'll have during my contest prep.
