Randy Couture vs Mark Coleman-Lose/lose senerio

These are probably my two favorite old school fighters and heros. If Coleman loses hes done, if Randy loses hes done(I think he has one more fight on his contract after this one.)I cant wait for the fight but whoever wins it will be bittersweet for me.
Kinda similar with Frank Trigg vs Matt Serra. I like both these guys(Serra, i like better) but they both lost to matt hughes. Whoever loses is not totally done in the ufc. But it will fuck up their rep. And move them way down the latter.

Tough call on this one. Both top notch wrestlers. This was another fight that was to take place yrs ago but never came to cas' of injuries.
I would give Randy the edge in every category but Coleman wants to show he is still a contender.

Now that you mention Couture only having one fight left.... hmmmm. I could see another company signing him to a one fight deal... Might be a bit old but it would still be an interesting fight.

It seems that we get to see all the fights 2-4yrs after they should have taken place.
i.e. Iceman vs Shogun, Iceman vs Wandy,

couture won't be done. he is a freak, and not a ken shamrock. this guy at 205 can still compete with other guys here. Honestly I think that his style would fair well against lyoto. Not just saying that b/c he's my favorite but watch their styles. lyoto looked like shit against shogun. take his legs away and couture would have him on the ground after suckin some of his wind against the cage for a min or so. He has 3 fights left or like 22 months, whichever comes first. I think it's funny cause Coleman beat couture years back in a fs match by a point. at this age, Coleman should hang it up. I just get bummed when I see another great fighter like hendo not getting a re-newal on his contract but liddell does??? Glad randy did but wtf does dana think, chuck will come back and be a force??? idk. if couture beats franklin this summer, there may be a couture v shogun or couture v lyoto, and then he retires with the belt
